The Berlin Police Department has an automated Live-Scan fingerprint system. This is a program that allows us to record vital information, a picture and fingerprints. All of this information is compiled and printed out on two business cards and an 8x8 information card. The business cards are given to the parent/guardian and the 8x8 is retained by the police department. The target group for this program is 3-12 year olds. This can be done as a group request, i.e. boy scouts, brownies, head start, schools, and day care.
